Field Service Technician - Midwest Region The Field Service Technician joins the Field Service Organization to support mission-critical digital mobile communication systems for government and public safety customers. What you'll do

Deploy, optimize, and repair infrastructure including public safety loggers, microwaves, computers, servers, and network equipment.
Provide advanced troubleshooting for software-driven electronics and provision communication system infrastructure.
Optimize the performance of RF and Broadband architecture, including legacy analog and digital P25 systems.
Perform preventative maintenance routines and conduct trend analysis to ensure continuous system operation.
Develop technical solutions for complex problems encountered during system maintenance and upgrades.
Maintain and test wired communication systems, specifically Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
Perform maintenance on server hardware, operating systems, and software infrastructure to resolve application issues.
Provide 24/7/365 on-call support for mission-critical public safety communication systems.

What we're looking for

Must have 3+ years of experience in LMR, RF Systems, Radio Communications, IT Systems, Telecommunications, or related technical fields.
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearances for government contracts.
Must be able to pass a stringent fingerprint background check for CJIS Security Policy compliance.
Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
Must possess strong knowledge of wired/wireless communication systems, including LAN and WAN.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and Motorola Radio Programming Software.
Must be able to perform 24/7/365 on-call support and travel 50-75% of the time.
FCC license and industry certifications such as ETA are preferred.
