Field Applications Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead technical escalations to identify and resolve system performance issues for lithography and metrology equipment.
• Manage specific workstreams within large projects by developing project plans and ensuring successful execution.
• Translate customer on-product issues into actionable lithography or metrology problem statements.
• Analyze experimental data from customers to draw accurate conclusions and report findings to stakeholders.
• Identify new product opportunities for ASML based on customer needs and requirements.
• Prepare technical presentations for customer meetings and provide support during the sales process.
• Promote the use of ASML products and options to maximize performance for the customer.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience, or a Master's degree or PhD in a technical discipline.
• 0-3 years of experience in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, semiconductor, or related field.
• Experience in data analysis and problem solving to interpret technical data and communicate findings to various audiences.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, JMP, SQL, or similar analytical tools.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills to translate complex concepts into practical recommendations.
• Basic project management skills and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
• Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined by U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
