Junior Field Applications Engineer

What you'll do

• Set up and test systems prior to field use to support senior engineers.
• Deliver technical training to end users on basic system and software operations.
• Perform diagnostics and basic repairs on equipment in the office and in the field.
• Deploy to customer locations to assist with installation, configuration, and testing.
• Develop test plans and contribute to project summary reports.
• Prepare equipment for sales demonstrations and assist with technical presentations.
• Manage the demonstration equipment inventory to ensure items are calibrated and ready for deployment.

What we're looking for

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
• Relevant military technical school experience will be highly considered in lieu of a degree.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in an entry to early-career role.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or TS clearance.
• Basic understanding of ESD-controlled environments and static-sensitive equipment.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts including TCP/IP, subnets, and hardware configuration.
• Fundamental understanding of RF concepts and familiarity with test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers and multimeters (preferred).
