TL;DR · Fellow, Integrated Solutions & Ecosystem Architecture

Fellow, Integrated Solutions & Ecosystem Architecture The Fellow, Integrated Solutions & Ecosystem Architecture serves as a senior technical leader for partner architecture and ecosystem engineering across Personal Systems. This role involves leading technical architecture engagements with strategic partners across silicon, operating systems, AI platforms, memory, storage, cloud, and device technologies. You will build integrated multi-generation technology roadmaps, define technical requirements, and drive joint technology workstreams from concept to engineering commitment. Key responsibilities include resolving complex cross-company architecture tradeoffs involving performance, cost, power, thermals, and security. You will utilize deep expertise in firmware, system software, AI/ML systems, and hardware platforms to shape next-generation agentic computing. The role solves the challenge of integrating independent technology roadmaps into cohesive, differentiated product architectures while managing complex organizational dependencies and external partner priorities.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical architecture engagements with strategic partners across silicon, operating systems, AI platforms, and cloud services.
  • Create integrated multi-generation technology roadmaps that connect partner capabilities with HP engineering priorities.
  • Translate customer needs and system requirements into specific partner engineering commitments and product interfaces.
  • Establish common, reusable architectures for platforms, software components, and firmware across the Personal Systems portfolio.
  • Drive joint technology workstreams from initial concept through engineering commitment and product-ready capability.
  • Shape system-level architecture for next-generation AI, including CPU/GPU/NPU execution, memory, power, and thermals.
  • Resolve complex technical tradeoffs involving performance, cost, security, and conflicting partner priorities.
  • Mentor a team of senior architects to build HP’s internal partner-architecture capability and technical bench.

What we're looking for

  • Exceptional record of technical leadership across complex, large-scale computing platforms or product ecosystems.
  • Deep systems architecture expertise in areas such as silicon, operating systems, firmware, system software, AI/ML, memory, security, or cloud/edge computing.
  • Demonstrated experience shaping multi-generation technology roadmaps with major external technology partners.
  • Proven ability to turn emerging technologies and architectural concepts into shipping platforms, products, or broadly deployed capabilities.
  • Experience negotiating consequential technical tradeoffs across companies and organizations with different priorities, roadmaps, and business models.
  • Strong understanding of system-level performance and interactions among compute, memory, power, thermals, firmware, software, and workload behavior.
  • Executive presence and technical credibility to work effectively with CTOs, Fellows, and senior engineering executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across organizations and a track record of mentoring senior technical talent.
  • Senior architecture leadership in personal computing, semiconductor, operating-system, AI-platform, cloud/edge, or large-scale device organizations (preferred).
  • Experience working directly with major silicon, operating-system, AI, memory, cloud, and device-ecosystem companies (preferred).
  • Experience spanning both technology creation and productization, including multi-platform architectures and joint reference architectures (preferred).
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent depth of industry experience (preferred).
