The Partner Solutions Engineer, Ecosystem joins the Global Partnerships team to manage technical outcomes for partners extending the platform's ecosystem. This role involves owning the full lifecycle of partner integrations, from initial technical discovery and architecture through testing, launch readiness, and production support. You will work directly with partners and internal teams to resolve complex integration failures, translate business goals into technical requirements, and identify recurring friction points to influence the product roadmap. The role requires hands-on engineering skills, including the ability to read, write, and debug code in languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Java, or Go. You will also build prototypes, scripts, and tooling while developing reference architectures for developer tools, commerce, billing, and automation. Key technical domains include APIs, webhooks, authentication, authorization, and event-driven systems within a financial infrastructure environment.
Own technical planning, architecture, implementation support, and launch readiness for a portfolio of partner integrations.
Translate complex partner goals into clear technical requirements, milestones, and success criteria.
Resolve critical production integration failures and lead high-priority technical escalations.
Identify recurring technical barriers to create reusable reference architectures and guidance for the platform.
Advocate for product improvements by translating implementation evidence into actionable requirements for Product and Engineering teams.
Build prototypes, scripts, and tooling to accelerate partner delivery and validate product directions.
Define launch-readiness standards for permissions, authorization, testing, and production support.
Track technical milestones and measure the commercial and user outcomes of your integration work.
What we're looking for
6+ years of experience in solutions engineering, partner engineering, software engineering, technical consulting, developer relations, or a similar hands-on technical role.
Experience designing and delivering production integrations using APIs, webhooks, authentication/authorization, event-driven systems, or developer platforms.
Ability to read, write, and debug code in at least one general-purpose language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Java, or Go.
Experience diagnosing complex integration failures across partner systems, APIs, and product surfaces.
Experience leading external partners from technical discovery through implementation, testing, and launch.
Ability to translate ambiguous goals into clear architecture, delivery plans, and technical decisions.
Ability to identify patterns across multiple implementations to create reusable guidance or Product requirements.
Strong communication skills for technical, business, and executive audiences; experience working with cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Experience with developer platforms, marketplaces, or partner-distributed products (preferred).
Experience with application extensibility, workflow automation, OAuth, or delegated API access (preferred).
Experience with payments, fintech, commerce, billing, monetization, or financial operations (preferred).
Experience creating certification programs or building prototypes and tooling to influence product roadmaps (preferred).
