Facilities Technician, Electrical

What you'll do

• Maintain electrical engineering standards for high-availability infrastructure including switchgear, UPS, batteries, and generators.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, power quality analysis, and root cause investigations for high-impact events.
• Provide engineering guidance for upgrades, retrofits, and expansions including design review and commissioning support.
• Improve site maintainability, safety execution, and documentation quality such as one-lines and test plans.
• Coordinate with utilities and regulatory stakeholders to ensure compliance with NFPA, IEEE, and ANSI codes.
• Review technical documentation to ensure consistent engineering quality across multiple data center sites.

What we're looking for

• Experience of 3 to 5+ years in the field.
• Extensive experience in high-reliability electrical design or operations for data centers, utilities, or mission-critical facilities.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license where relevant (preferred).
• Familiarity with power analysis tools such as SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower.
• Knowledge of safety expectations including arc flash and protective coordination.
• Ability to communicate technical risk and options clearly to mixed audiences.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
