As the Facilities Operation Manager - Electrical, you will lead the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of mission-critical electrical systems supporting OCI data centers. Reporting to the Site Operations Director, you will manage day-to-day plant operations, maintenance execution, vendor performance, and technician leadership to ensure continuous uptime for compute loads. Your responsibilities include overseeing switchgear, UPS, batteries, generators, transfer switches, PDUs, busway, and grounding systems while managing preventive maintenance, incident response, and root cause analysis. You will utilize tools such as EPMS, SCADA, BMS, and CMMS to track performance metrics and maintain audit-ready records. The role requires expertise in electrical safety standards like NFPA 70E and LOTO. This position focuses on the practical execution of maintenance and troubleshooting for critical infrastructure within a high-availability data center environment to protect essential power distribution systems.

What you'll do

Manage day-to-day operation, maintenance, and service execution for critical electrical infrastructure.
Oversee electrical plant readiness including preventive maintenance, testing, repairs, and outage coordination.
Serve as the primary site technical lead for electrical systems and incident escalation.
Manage technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure safety, quality, and SLA performance.
Lead troubleshooting and restoration efforts for electrical faults and equipment degradation.
Drive execution of switching procedures and safe work practices in compliance with codes.
Track and improve key performance indicators like equipment availability and mean time to repair.
Conduct root cause analysis for electrical events and implement documented corrective actions.

What we're looking for

5–8 years of experience in electrical maintenance, service execution, or plant operations in mission-critical environments.
2–4+ years of experience leading technicians, service teams, or maintenance execution in live operational environments.
Strong knowledge of switchgear, UPS systems, batteries, generators, transfer equipment, PDUs, grounding, and power distribution systems.
Experience managing maintenance programs, outages, vendor execution, and incident response in live operational environments.
Familiarity with EPMS, SCADA, BMS, and CMMS tools.
Experience supporting commissioning, turnover, or acceptance of new electrical systems (preferred).
Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician license where applicable (preferred).
NFPA 70E training, OSHA 30, and NETA or NICET credentials are preferred.
