What you'll do

  • Provide L2 technical support for mission-critical Equities Electronic trading applications.
  • Monitor application performance and the underlying technical platform to ensure system stability.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues by analyzing database schemas and process flows.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to fellow team members on production support tasks.
  • Coordinate with development, QA, and business teams to determine priorities and meet requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide technical recommendations for major system issues.
  • Manage incident resolution workflows to ensure all problems are resolved within established SLAs.
  • Communicate real-time status updates and technical information to global stakeholders and regional teams.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of Equities Support experience.
  • Application support experience.
  • Experience providing trade floor support.
  • Knowledge of FIX protocol.
  • Proficiency in Python, Perl, and Linux/Unix Shell Scripting.
  • Proficiency in SQL database management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
