Environmental Health and Safety Senior Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and implement EHS programs to comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventative actions.
• Serve as the primary EHS liaison for employees, managers, customers, auditors, and regulators.
• Conduct and document safety inspections to identify workplace hazards and conditions.
• Manage hazardous waste operations including proper handling, labeling, and storage.
• Ensure compliance with standards for hazard communication, fall protection, and lockout/tag-out.
• Oversee industrial hygiene, storm water management, and air emissions programs.
• Manage chemical management, machine guarding, and emergency response protocols.

What we're looking for

• Must have 2-3 years of experience implementing and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Must have experience in 29 CFR 1910 General Industry.
• Must have experience in 40 CFR Parts 260-279 Hazardous Waste Management.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with leadership, regulators, and staff.
• Must be able to manage multiple activities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Must have U.S. Person status to access export controlled sites.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing and full rate production facilities.
