Manage the day-to-day activities, performance, and hiring processes for the EHS Fire Safety & Emergency Response Engineering team.
Oversee operational budgets for fire safety and emergency response programs.
Develop engineering-based solutions to improve workplace fire safety and mitigate exposure risks.
Interpret fire safety rules, regulations, and codes to provide technical guidance to management and engineering teams.
Provide training and coaching on risk assessments, fire protection systems, and emergency action plans.
Conduct compliance audits, fire risk assessments, and process hazard analyses with a focus on fire and explosion hazards.
Oversee the inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire protection and life-safety systems across facility operations.

What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in EHS programs with an emphasis on fire safety engineering and emergency response.
3+ years of leadership experience managing technical or engineering teams.
Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Emergency Management, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Experience leading multi-site or multi-discipline programs in high-risk industrial environments (preferred).
Ability to review engineering drawings and lead technical risk engineering solutions (preferred).
Knowledge of federal, state, and local fire and occupational safety regulations like OSHA, NFPA, IFC/IBC, and ANSI (preferred).
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
