Sr. EHS Engineer

What you'll do

• Apply scientific and engineering principles to drive EHS risk reduction and compliance.
• Own and manage plant EHS programs, focusing on Process Safety Management and Machine Guarding.
• Investigate workplace incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Complete internal and external EHS compliance reports and analyze data trends for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical assistance to safety committees and offer guidance on regulatory interpretations.

What we're looking for

• Five or more years of EHS experience in manufacturing, focusing on process safety management and machine guarding.
• Master’s degree in science, engineering, or environmental health and safety from an accredited institution.
• Experience implementing comprehensive EHS management systems and conducting hazard/risk assessments.
• Proficiency with computer-based tools for EHS data reporting and assessment.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and fire codes.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills to work effectively in a team setting.
• QEP, CSP, or CIH certification preferred.
