What you'll do

  • Assess on-premises infrastructure to determine migration readiness and workload dependencies.
  • Lead workload discovery, sizing, and capacity analysis using Azure Migrate.
  • Define migration strategies and develop detailed roadmaps, risk-mitigation plans, and cost estimates.
  • Design and implement enterprise Azure Landing Zones including subscription architecture, networking, and identity.
  • Architect hybrid connectivity using ExpressRoute, Site-to-Site VPN, and Hub-and-Spoke networking.
  • Establish security and governance controls using Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Policy, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Design highly available disaster recovery solutions including Azure Site Recovery and failover procedures.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations using Terraform, Bicep, and Azure DevOps.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of infrastructure/cloud experience with strong hands-on Azure architecture experience.
  • Strong background in enterprise on-premises infrastructure including Windows Server, virtualization, compute, storage, and patching.
  • Proven experience leading on-premises-to-Azure migration assessments, implementations, and strategy development.
  • Expertise designing Azure Landing Zones and hybrid networking including ExpressRoute, VPN, Hub-and-Spoke, and firewalls.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure security and governance including Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Policy, and Defender for Cloud.
  • Demonstrated experience designing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions including Azure Site Recovery and RTO/RPO testing.
  • Experience with Azure FinOps, cost optimization, and automation using Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred).
  • Experience leading large-scale Azure migration or cloud-transformation programs (preferred).
  • Experience working in regulated enterprise environments (preferred).
