Engineering Technician

What you'll do

• Gather, format, and manipulate technical data such as laboratory results and engineering design changes.
• Produce engineering documentation including reports, flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.
• Perform detailed mathematical calculations and preliminary analyses for trajectory adequacy and dimensional consistency.
• Operate modern analytical instrumentation to perform standard test methods for quality control and material assessment.
• Manage data entry, tracking, and label generation using computer-based systems and laboratory information systems.
• Monitor gauge and instrument calibrations to ensure cycles are not exceeded.
• Prepare routine solutions and reagents while performing various technical procedures in a lab environment.
• Maintain inventory by stocking supplies, distributing equipment, and preparing glassware for use.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain a United States Government Secret Security Clearance.
• High school diploma is required for both levels.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience for Engineering Technician 2.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience for Engineering Technician 3.
• Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, work in tight spaces, and provide weekend or off-shift coverage.
