Engineering Manager

What you'll do

• Hire and manage a high-performing engineering team by leading the interview loop and establishing team rituals.
• Own the data charter and roadmap, including data models, ETL pipelines, and analytics infrastructure.
• Transform inherited systems into a coherent platform strategy for data integration and API management.
• Guide technical decisions regarding data modeling, ingestion, synchronization, and serving across the platform.
• Define and enforce data quality standards, including SLOs and data contracts to ensure reliability for AI agents.
• Partner with product teams and leadership to align data initiatives with strategic business goals.
• Oversee the integration of company data into the Salesforce ecosystem and Data Cloud.

What we're looking for

• Experience managing engineering teams building data platforms, pipelines, or high-scale backend systems.
• Proven ability to source, close, and ramp strong engineers through a defined hiring process.
• Technical depth in PostgreSQL at scale, ClickHouse or similar OLAP systems, CDC, event streaming, ETL orchestration, or data modeling.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments without established roadmaps or conventions.
• Proactive, outcomes-oriented mindset with the willingness to perform hands-on technical work when needed.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with non-technical stakeholders.
