What you'll do

Lead the technical execution and delivery of a GenAI platform with distributed compute, storage, ingestion, and inference.
Build scalable GenAI platforms and applications for enterprise use.
Ensure products meet Apple's standards for performance, reliability, scalability, privacy, and user experience.
Guide development of APIs and frameworks for agentic workflows and complex multi-step ML systems.
Mentor and lead a team of software engineers in building RAG and Agentic platform components.

What we're looking for

10+ years of experience in distributed systems
6+ years of leadership or management experience
Deep understanding of generative AI fundamentals
Proficiency in Java, C, C++, or similar programming languages
Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Flink and Spark
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Track record of delivering complex AI projects from conception to production
