JOB TITLE: Engineering Project Manager, Ai & Data Platforms The Engineering Project Manager, Ai & Data Platforms joins the Information Systems and Technology group to drive Generative AI and Data Platforms for the enterprise. This role involves orchestrating complex, cross-functional initiatives to deliver large-scale platforms and solutions. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to manage project schedules, identify customer needs, develop roadmaps, and build processes for maximum agility. Key responsibilities include driving consensus across groups and facilitating communication between cross-divisional teams. The role requires expertise in Cloud Infrastructure, Database setup programs, Relational and noSQL databases, Networking, and Storage. You will work within a domain focused on managing a petabyte-scale enterprise data warehouse, providing data analytics, machine learning, and data science solutions to transform business operations through innovative generative AI platforms.

What you'll do

Lead large cross-functional platforms and solutions to deliver value to various Apple teams.
Drive consensus across multiple groups with varying opinions to align on a common purpose and execution plan.
Create and manage project schedules with clear dependencies, critical paths, and systematic status communication.
Contribute to product definition by identifying customer needs, priorities, and developing the product roadmap.
Build and run processes that allow for maximum agility and adaptation across AiDP teams.
Build relationships across the organization to facilitate communication between cross-divisional groups.

What we're looking for

4+ years of industry experience in an engineering role.
2+ years of experience managing Cloud Infrastructure and Database setup programs.
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical related field, or international degree equivalent.
Understanding of Relational and noSQL databases (preferred).
Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure like AWS, Database Security, and compliance areas (preferred).
Understanding of Networking and Storage (preferred).
1 year of experience exposure to AI or ML programs in an enterprise environment (preferred).
Experience with enterprise generative AI tools (preferred).
