What you'll do

Design and build agentic components including tool-use integrations, retrieval steps, and orchestration logic.
Write clear, concise, and well-tested code for production agentic workflows.
Manage context engineering to optimize agent visibility within token, latency, and cost constraints.
Integrate LLM APIs, embedding models, vector stores, and agentic frameworks into production services.
Build evaluations and guardrails using offline benchmarks and online telemetry to ensure safety and accuracy.
Participate in on-call rotations to debug, profile, and perform root-cause analysis on production issues.
Review the work of other engineers and lead design reviews for technical trade-offs.
Log events and publish metrics while modeling best practices for access control and sensitive data handling.

What we're looking for

2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with LLM or foundation model APIs, prompt engineering, or RAG patterns.
Experience building or contributing to AI agents, tool-use, orchestration, or agentic workflows.
Understanding of context engineering within token, latency, and cost constraints for agents.
Solid CS fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
Working knowledge of cloud-native development on AWS and/or GCP with at least one production-grade tech stack.
Familiarity with agentic frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, Claude Agent SDK, or OpenAI Assistants API.
Experience with RESTful services, event-driven architectures, backend databases, and containerization (preferred).
