What you'll do

Define the strategy and roadmap for the PDLC Agents Platform to support an AI-Native Operating Model.
Lead the development of a digital worker fleet to automate and enforce the software delivery lifecycle.
Own the ship-time policy gate to ensure all agents and changes are registered, instrumented, and guardrail-wrapped.
Partner with cross-functional teams to define and enforce a policy-as-code spine for data classification and tool usage.
Drive the adoption of open agent standards including MCP, A2A, and OTEL GenAI tracing.
Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team while establishing a talent pipeline for future leadership.
Establish best practices for the end-to-end agent lifecycle, focusing on scalability, security, and responsible autonomy.
Collaborate with business leaders to roll out AI-Native squads and support teams in increasing their autonomy levels.

What we're looking for

10+ years of software engineering experience.
At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles, including leading platform, developer-tools, or agentic/AI engineering teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced degrees are a plus (preferred).
Strong technical background in production agentic AI systems, including multi-agent orchestration, context engineering, and agentic evaluations.
Experience designing or enforcing policy-as-code controls in regulated or high-stakes environments.
Proven track record of hiring, mentoring, and growing engineering teams.
Working knowledge of agent standards and run-time governance tooling such as MCP, A2A, and OTEL GenAI (preferred).
Experience in retail, e-commerce, or other customer-focused industries with PCI or PII data-handling requirements (preferred).
