What you'll do

Design and build core AI Agentic Platform capabilities including orchestration layers, tool-use pipelines, and memory systems.
Own end-to-end solution designs for platform components that span multiple engineers' work and integrate across systems.
Integrate LLM APIs, embedding models, vector stores, and RAG patterns into production platform services.
Make technical trade-offs between short-term delivery needs and long-term platform scalability and infrastructure costs.
Lead design and code reviews to maintain high standards for quality, testability, and extensibility.
Design key metrics, events, and observability patterns to ensure performance and security of platform features.
Mentor junior engineers on technical activities and provide specific feedback during the hiring process.

What we're looking for

6+ years of professional software engineering experience designing and delivering complex, scalable distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, foundation model APIs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and embedding-based search in production.
Experience building shared AI infrastructure or developer platforms within an AI-focused product organization.
Proficiency in Python and/or Java with cloud-native development experience on AWS and/or GCP.
Experience with RESTful services, event-driven architectures, backend databases, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and CI/CD tools.
Demonstrated ability to design systems spanning months of work while balancing short-term delivery and long-term scalability.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience building AI Agentic systems using frameworks like LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI (preferred).
