What you'll do

Lead engineering delivery across BigQuery, GCP, Looker, Metabase, and AWS workloads.
Own platform reliability, incident response, and on-call rotations for production systems.
Drive capacity planning, compute cost management, and scaling strategies across cloud providers.
Manage enterprise access provisioning, governance, and security policies for the data platform.
Establish LookML governance, development standards, and deployment practices for Looker Core.
Lead the Conversational Analytics enablement strategy, including agent development and token utilization.
Write code, build automation tools, and perform pull request reviews as a hands-on contributor.
Coach engineers on technical standards, architecture, and AI fluency.

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience leading engineering teams with direct accountability for delivery and people development.
5+ years of experience building software, platforms, infrastructure, or data systems.
Hands-on proficiency in Python for direct technical contribution and writing code.
Strong cloud experience across GCP and/or AWS with fluency in Git, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
Experience owning access management programs at scale.
Daily use of AI coding tools and a point of view on how they change team workflows.
Data platform or BI depth in BigQuery, Looker, Metabase, Tableau, or MicroStrategy (preferred).
Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, cloud cost optimization, or AI-first engineering practices (preferred).
