Emerging Technology Strategist Technical Lead

What you'll do

• Develop structured technology roadmaps to deploy digital tools and infrastructure for business goals.
• Conduct comprehensive research on emerging technologies like agentic AI, multi-agent systems, and spatial computing.
• Author technical white papers, architectural assessments, and strategic reports detailing the impact of new solutions.
• Deliver high-level briefings and data-driven recommendations for technology adoption to senior leadership.
• Develop frameworks for the ethical and effective governance of AI systems within the federal environment.
• Provide rapid-response analysis on complex, evolving technical topics and mission-critical taskers.
• Ensure all technical integrations and research methodologies adhere to federal standards and security protocols.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 8+ years of experience in technical project management or technology strategy.
• 10+ years of experience in technical project management or technology strategy in lieu of a degree.
• Experience designing enterprise-level solutions utilizing emerging technologies.
• Experience researching, assessing, and evaluating emerging technologies including AI, Edge Computing, Sensor, or Computer Vision.
• Experience with technical writing to produce white papers, decks, and strategic reports for government or enterprise clients.
• Experience with AI governance frameworks and the implementation of large-scale AI solutions.
• Experience applying federal IT standards, Enterprise Architecture frameworks, and government procurement processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
• Experience with Customs and Border Protection Agency mission (preferred).
• Experience working directly with Federal Executive-level Staff (preferred).
• Knowledge of federal Executive Orders, presidential directives, and their compliance and operational implications (preferred).
