What you'll do

  • Conduct comprehensive research into emerging technologies like agentic AI, multi-agent systems, and spatial computing.
  • Author technical white papers, architectural assessments, and strategic roadmaps for new technology solutions.
  • Deliver high-level briefings and data-driven recommendations to senior leadership regarding technology adoption.
  • Provide rapid-response analysis on complex, evolving technical topics and mission-critical taskers.
  • Develop frameworks for the ethical and effective governance of AI systems within the federal environment.
  • Ensure all technical integrations and research methodologies adhere to federal standards and security protocols.
  • Align all proposed technology solutions with agency goals for infrastructure modernization and mission effectiveness.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 8+ years of experience in technical project management or technology strategy.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical project management or technology strategy in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience researching and evaluating emerging technologies including AI, Edge Computing, or Quantum.
  • Experience with technical writing and producing white papers, decks, and strategic reports for government or enterprise clients.
  • Experience with AI governance frameworks and the implementation of large-scale AI solutions.
  • Knowledge of federal IT standards, Enterprise Architecture (EA) frameworks, and government procurement processes.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
  • Experience with Customs and Border Protection Agency mission (preferred).
