Wireless Systems Researcher

What you'll do

• Identify user characteristics and environments that impact wireless connectivity and performance metrics.
• Design and execute rigorous user studies to quantify end-to-end RF system performance.
• Apply experimental design principles to ensure research findings are statistically valid and actionable.
• Process and visualize data to formulate insights for product decisions and technical trade-offs.
• Design and implement novel wireless infrastructure to advance human engineering product validation.
• Root cause potential shortcomings in wireless performance through systematic testing and analysis.
• Translate technical findings into actionable product decisions for cross-functional stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• MS with 3+ years of professional experience or a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a strong background in RF/wireless technologies.
• Experience working with RF and wireless connectivity technologies like Bluetooth, WiFi, and UWB, preferably for consumer products.
• Experience applying statistical methods and experimental design principles to human-subjects or engineering research.
• Experience with data processing and visualization using R, Python, MATLAB, or similar techniques.
• Experience setting up research plans, identifying resources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Experience using AI/LLM tools to accelerate research workflows or data analysis.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the USA.
• Ph.D. with 2+ years of industry experience (preferred).
