Embedded Software Test Architect, Project

What you'll do

• Design and steer the test architecture for safety- and security-critical embedded software in Programmable Logic Controllers.
• Use modern continuous integration and development tools to promote engineering practice improvements across the global organization.
• Monitor and improve the health, predictability, and velocity of Agile teams within a Scaled Agile Framework.
• Partner with development and system test personnel to ensure all product requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and tools using Python.
• Lead high-level test strategies and provide coordination across Agile development teams and system architects.
• Mentor less experienced personnel and encourage knowledge sharing throughout the development community.
• Promote reliable automated test engineering through robust design patterns, processes, and tooling.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• Typically requires 8 years of software engineering experience with demonstrated professional development in software design, testware, tool development and software development (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent knowledge in software engineering principles (preferred).
• Willingness to take on a technical leadership role in a large-sized team (preferred).
• Previous experience working with test architectures preferably with real-time embedded development environments (preferred).
• Develop and maintain automated tests and tools in Python (preferred).
• Experience developing testware to verify conformance to safety and security standards such as IEC 61508 or IEC 62443 (preferred).
