Senior Engineer, Embedded Software

What you'll do

• Develop safety- and security-critical embedded software for new Programmable Logic Controllers.
• Build and maintain automated tests to support new and existing product features.
• Implement platform BSPs, features, and subsystems while providing technical guidance to the team.
• Manage the full software development life cycle including requirements, design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Use modern continuous integration tools to promote development practices across the global organization.
• Participate in Agile planning for short-term sprints, medium-term program increments, and long-term roadmaps.
• Mentor less experienced personnel and encourage knowledge sharing within the development community.

What we're looking for

• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Typically requires minimum of 5 years of related experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge (preferred).
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated professional development in software design and implementation (preferred).
• Experience developing software for embedded systems, especially using an embedded RTOS or Linux (preferred).
• Experience developing automated tests and tools in a high-level language such as Python (preferred).
• Experience developing software and automated tests and tools in object-oriented languages such as C++ or Python (preferred).
