Electrical Engineer, PCB Design

What you'll do

• Execute full-cycle PCB design including requirement gathering, schematic design, component selection, layout, and system integration.
• Perform power design and integrate power management systems for mission-critical electronics.
• Conduct bring-up and design work on microcontrollers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and debugging tools.
• Develop payloads and subsystems including sensors, networking interfaces, and power management components.
• Create system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses with appropriate wire and connector selection.
• Perform power system analysis, simulation, and testing to determine optimal hardware solutions.
• Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews for avionics and missile platform electronics.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex system designs.
• Ability to perform power system and electrical loading analysis, simulation, and testing.
• Proficiency with lab test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic/spectrum analyzers, and basic software debugging tools.
• Experience designing multi-layer mixed-signal PCBs with proper grounding, protection, and filtering.
• Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces such as CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, and USB.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers including bring-up and design work.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
