Electronics Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform component selection, schematic capture, and multi-layer PCB design for MANET radios.
• Create wiring diagrams for radio wiring harnesses.
• Define PCB stack-up, materials, and design rules to meet performance and manufacturing requirements.
• Validate that new PCB and harness designs meet specific technical requirements.
• Execute hardware bring-up, testing, and root cause analysis using standard lab equipment.
• Ensure designs are isolated and do not produce EMI in high-interference environments.
• Implement digital communication peripherals such as USB 2.0, Ethernet, I2C, and RS232 at the hardware level.
• Design power supply circuitry for advanced R&D projects.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in multi-layer PCB design.
• Experience implementing digital communication peripherals such as USB 2.0, Ethernet, I2C, and RS232 at a hardware level.
• Experience designing power supply circuitry.
• Familiarity with test equipment including DMM, bench top supplies, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident).
• Proficiency in Altium Designer and simulation tools for high-speed digital and power supply design.
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as FCC, CE Mark, and MIL-STD-461.
