What you'll do

Design, integrate, test, and validate end-to-end avionics systems and subsystems.
Perform power system and electrical loading analysis, simulations, and testing to determine optimal solutions.
Design mixed-signal PCBs with multiple layer counts, impedance matching, and proper grounding.
Develop cable harnessing designs including wire and connector selection for low and high voltage systems.
Conduct hardware bring-up and design work for microcontrollers.
Use lab test equipment like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and thermal/EMI test chambers for debugging.
Develop low-level firmware for system bring-up and testing.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex system designs.
Ability to perform power system and electrical loading analysis, simulation, and testing to determine optimal solutions.
High competence using lab test equipment and familiarity with thermal and EMI test chambers and basic software debugging tools.
Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces including CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, RS232/422, RS485, and USB.
Experience with power design, power management systems, and hands-on experience with microcontrollers including bring-up and design work.
Experience designing mixed-signal PCBs with multiple layer counts, stackup, impedance matching, grounding, and board protections.
Understanding of low and high voltage power electronics to drive cable harnessing designs with proper wire and connector selection.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
