What you'll do

Manage end-to-end development of avionics systems and subsystems.
Design, integrate, test, and validate complex electrical system designs.
Perform power system analysis, electrical loading simulations, and hardware testing.
Design multi-layer mixed-signal PCBs with proper grounding, filtering, and impedance matching.
Develop and debug low-level firmware for microcontroller bring-up and testing.
Create system interconnect diagrams and drive cable harnessing designs using appropriate wire and connector selections.
Utilize lab test equipment to troubleshoot hardware in thermal and EMI test chambers.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex system designs.
Ability to perform power system and electrical loading analysis, simulation, and testing.
High competence using lab test equipment and familiarity with thermal and EMI test chambers.
Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces including CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, and RS series.
Experience designing mixed-signal PCBs with multiple layers, stackups, and impedance matching.
Knowledge of low and high voltage power electronics to drive cable harnessing designs.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
5+ years of experience designing and integrating electrical systems into aerospace vehicles (preferred).
Experience with battery systems, AC power, and developing low-level firmware (preferred).
