What you'll do

  • Develop complex printed wiring designs for multi-layer SMT and BGA boards.
  • Perform placement, routing, and documentation for digital, analog, and high-speed boards.
  • Design part geometries and symbols for electrical components.
  • Prepare schematic diagrams, logic diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
  • Create board fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and parts lists.
  • Manage and maintain a reuse electrical part library.
  • Ensure all designs follow military and commercial PWB design and drawing standards.
  • Apply IPC standards for printed wiring board design and assembly.

What we're looking for

  • Associate degree in CAD.
  • 2 plus years of Mentor Graphics Expedition and CES experience.
  • Experience managing a reuse electrical part library.
  • Experience capturing electrical part geometries and symbols.
  • Experience with high speed Printed Wiring Board design requirements.
  • Experience with IPC Standards concerning PWB Design and assembly.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Current possession of a US Government Secret security clearance.
