Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer

What you'll do

• Support the design and development of high-speed digital Circuit Card Assemblies from concept through production.
• Review and derive hardware requirements to develop design concepts for electronic modules and circuit boards.
• Perform detailed electrical design for microprocessors, FPGAs, voltage regulators, and interface transceiver circuits.
• Capture designs as schematic diagrams using CAD tools and coordinate with the ECAD department for layout and routing.
• Conduct signal integrity analysis and simulations to optimize high-speed data paths.
• Test and verify electronics assemblies and support firmware and software integration.
• Create requirements specifications, design documents, and comprehensive test plans and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex design issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment.

What we're looking for

• BSEE degree with 6 years minimum applicable experience required.
• MSEE degree (preferred).
• Experience in digital and analog circuit board design and test.
• Hands-on experience debugging high-speed digital circuits using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout for high-speed digital circuits.
• Experience with standard CAD tools, Mentor Graphics Xpedition preferred.
• Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity principles.
• U.S. citizens.
