What you'll do

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for front-end and back-end Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.
Negotiate complex supplier agreements regarding licensing, pricing, device development, and supply assurance.
Provide data-driven sourcing recommendations based on technology requirements, cost targets, and project schedules.
Manage large-scale projects to ensure procurement goals are met while overcoming potential risks.
Establish new processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency across the sourcing department.
Analyze market conditions and competitive landscapes to guide team members through complex sourcing issues.
Oversee budget development and performance standards for multiple functional areas.
Act as a change agent by identifying, communicating, and implementing organizational process improvements.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of sourcing experience, or Associate's degree with 11+ years, or High School Diploma with 13+ years.
Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
4+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
4+ years of experience in a leadership role.
3+ years of experience interacting with senior leadership at the Vice President level and above.
2+ years of experience with cost projection and management.
Experience sourcing Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools or serving as a Technical Manager for EDA products.
Ability to work full-time onsite in Santa Clara, CA or San Diego, CA.
