What you'll do

Direct a team of software engineers to build foundational components for the Renaissance Risk Platform.
Design and deliver low-latency, fault-tolerant real-time financial data pipelines using Apache Kafka and Apache Flink.
Architect and implement enterprise financial risk processing systems using Java, Spring Boot, and high-concurrency engines.
Execute large-scale cloud migrations to AWS using Jenkins, Harness, and Docker to modernize legacy systems.
Implement end-to-end production observability frameworks using Splunk and AppDynamics for real-time monitoring and incident resolution.
Act as a technical product owner to translate business requirements into scalable architectural designs and POCs.
Analyze, document, and maintain enterprise-level architectures and transition plans for target state systems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
At least seven years of experience as an application developer, software engineer, Java developer, or related role.
Expertise in designing low-latency, fault-tolerant real-time financial data pipelines using Apache Kafka and Apache Flink.
Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Flink for high-concurrency risk computation engines and microservices.
Experience executing large-scale cloud migrations using AWS infrastructure and CI/CD automation with Jenkins, Harness, and Docker.
Experience implementing production observability frameworks for distributed streaming applications using Splunk and AppDynamics.
Ability to lead and direct a team of software engineers in architectural design and technical decision-making.
