What you'll do

Design, develop, and implement automation pipelines using CI/CD tools and DevOps principles.
Lead the development strategy for Web application experience APIs using Node JS, Express JS, Nest JS, or GraphQL.
Translate business vision and strategy into technical architectural recommendations at the functional level.
Oversee the technical implementation of cross-divisional architectural components and major technology initiatives.
Research and recommend new technologies, models, and tools to support the strategic direction of the business unit.
Provide technical supervision, guidance, and coaching to multiple teams on complex organization-wide projects.
Set testing standards and champion automation frameworks using TDD practices and various testing libraries.
Determine technical approaches at a strategic level to ensure software solutions align with organizational needs.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Biotechnology, or a related field and six years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Biotechnology, or a related field and four years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering.
Experience developing web applications, web components, and API services using TypeScript, Java technologies, and GraphQL within a financial services environment.
Expertise designing mobile-first applications and APIs for wealth management solutions using Angular, Node.js, and GraphQL or RESTful frameworks in an Agile environment.
Expertise monitoring application performance and reliability using Real User Monitoring (RUM), synthetic monitoring via Catchpoint, and Datadog.
Experience developing Java/J2EE web applications using Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Backbone.js, and Maven with source code management in Git.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Groovy, IBM UrbanCode, and containerizing applications with Docker for AWS EC2 instances.
Expertise performing manual and automated testing using TDD practices with tools like Protractor, Cucumber, Karma, Jasmine, Jest, REST Assured, JUnit, and Selenium.
