Director, Software Development, Banking Solutions

What you'll do

• Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent deposit and banking solution projects.
• Oversee internal technology development and manage strategic vendor partnerships.
• Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and performance management for a team of IT resources.
• Formulate technology strategies with business partners to shape the product portfolio.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and potential conflicts.
• Ensure all technical initiatives are integrated into established corporate procedures and processes.
• Drive execution activities to meet specific budget and schedule requirements.

What we're looking for

• Undergraduate degree in an IT field such as computer science or management information systems, or equivalent work experience in an IT field.
• 8 to 10 years of IT management experience.
• Experience in the financial services sector is preferred.
• Strong understanding of technology and financial services industry, specifically regarding deposit and lending processes.
• Experience working with and managing software and service providers in the banking industry.
• Ability to manage a team of IT resources including coaching and performance management.
• Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly traded corporation (preferred).
• Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses (preferred).
