The Director of Technology - Wafer Cleaning leads process technology for the research, development, and implementation of post-chemical mechanical planarization cleaning products within the CMP Product Business Group. This role involves managing the complex application of scientific theory to develop and manage technical processes for post-CMP cleaning products while providing innovative solutions for high value problems regarding defectivity and yield. The individual will benchmark products against competitors, maintain product roadmaps, and define performance metrics. The position requires expertise in semiconductor wet cleaning technology, including a deep understanding of particle adhesion, removal, and corrosion of advanced metals. Candidates must possess over ten years of experience in state-of-the-art wafer cleaning processes at top-tier manufacturers or fabrication companies. Key competencies include strategic leadership, complex problem solving, and the ability to influence stakeholders at the senior executive level.
Direct process technology for research, development, and implementation of post-CMP cleaning products.
Manage the practical application of scientific theory to develop and manage post-CMP cleaning products.
Provide innovative solutions to resolve complex customer issues and High Value Problems (HVP).
Benchmark CMP product performance against competitor offerings and other semiconductor wafer cleaning products.
Develop long-term technology strategies and maintain product roadmaps to improve defectivity and yield.
Define performance metrics and report progress against specific technical goals.
Lead the development of post-CMP cleaning processes within the Product Business Group.
What we're looking for
A PhD degree is preferred.
Must have over 10 years of experience in state-of-the-art wafer cleaning processes at a top-tier semiconductor equipment manufacturer or fabrication company.
Must be an expert in semiconductor wet cleaning technology.
Must possess a comprehensive understanding of state-of-the-art semiconductor wafer clean industry product offerings.
Must have a fundamental understanding of particle adhesion, removal, and corrosion of advanced metals.
Ability to negotiate and influence opinions at the senior executive level and within external organizations.
Ability to manage complex business problems using advanced analytical thought and judgment.
Ability to lead through direct management of subordinates and influence of collaborators.
