Director of Production Operations

What you'll do

• Manage all operational aspects of the program from material procurement to finished product delivery.
• Lead an Integrated Product Team including manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, and production scheduling.
• Oversee the transition of large-scale programs from Engineering & Manufacturing Development to Full Rate Production.
• Develop and execute long-range plans, critical milestones, and production strategies for the Sentinel Program.
• Manage product scheduling including first articles, long lead planning, and build sequence planning.
• Coordinate resource plans and visibility metrics aligned with the Integrated Master Schedule.
• Develop and present production status metrics to management and the customer.
• Oversee all proposal efforts for the Sentinel Production Operations team.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years experience or a Master's degree with 8 years experience in defense/aerospace systems or management.
• Must possess an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• At least 3 years of experience leading and managing teams on complex projects.
• Experience working with DoD customers and partners.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
• Master's degree in science, engineering, or relevant acumen (preferred).
• 20+ years of related experience (preferred).
