Director, Product Management leads a team responsible for high-priority Open Finance payment solutions, including new-to-market capabilities for seamless digital payments and an AI/ML-powered risk suite designed to predict and prevent ACH returns and fraud. This leader manages the full product lifecycle from 0–1 concept development through commercialization and scaling. Key responsibilities include defining portfolio strategy, coaching a team of product managers, and partnering with data science and engineering teams to optimize predictive payment risk models. The role requires translating market needs into differentiated products while managing pricing, business cases, and go-to-market plans. Candidates must possess expertise in cloud-based or API-enabled products, payment flows, and fraud management. Required skills include experience with Agile methodologies, Confluence, JIRA, and navigating complex technical concepts like data privacy, security practices, and risk decisioning within the fintech and open banking sectors.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute the vision, strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities across the Open Finance and AI/ML payment risk portfolio.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of product managers while establishing clear ownership and operating rhythms.
  • Guide products from 0–1 concept development through iterative delivery, launch, and large-scale commercialization.
  • Partner with Data Science and Engineering teams to develop and optimize predictive payment risk models and fraud management capabilities.
  • Engage directly with financial institutions and partners to validate value propositions and translate market needs into the product roadmap.
  • Develop product positioning, pricing models, business cases, and go-to-market plans to drive revenue and adoption.
  • Communicate a compelling product vision to executive leadership and align cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, sales, and legal teams.
  • Establish success metrics and use data-driven insights to continuously improve product performance and customer outcomes.

What we're looking for

  • Solid product management experience including leading product managers or multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience defining strategy and launching/scaling cloud-based or API-enabled products (preferred).
  • Experience taking products from 0–1 while managing established products with revenue and performance commitments.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML product development and partnering with Data Science teams to translate model capabilities into value.
  • Ability to navigate technical concepts, data-driven products, APIs, payment flows, risk decisioning, and platform dependencies.
  • Proven commercial judgment including market analysis, pricing, business cases, and go-to-market planning.
  • Excellent executive communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills within complex global organizations.
  • Knowledge of open banking, ACH payments, card payments, fraud, data privacy, and security practices (preferred).
