Director, VSP Payment Orchestration

What you'll do

• Drive the vision, multi-year roadmap, and investment priorities for the VSP Payment Orchestration domain.
• Translate crypto and stablecoin strategies into prioritized investments and executable plans across global regions.
• Lead market and ecosystem discovery to identify repeatable use cases and partnership opportunities in blockchain infrastructure.
• Partner with engineering to guide platform evolution, including API contracts, orchestration patterns, and settlement flows.
• Manage portfolio governance, executive reporting, and capacity decisions while resolving cross-portfolio tradeoffs.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory and operational objectives.
• Shape commercialization and go-to-market strategies to transition products from pilots to scalable global propositions.
• Establish standards for the responsible use of AI tools in product discovery, research, and documentation.

What we're looking for

• Must have 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, 8 years with an Advanced Degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
• Preferred: experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, with an Advanced Degree, or with a PhD.
• Demonstrated success setting strategy and leading a complex platform through investment approval, delivery, and scaled operations (preferred).
• Technical fluency with RESTful APIs and payment orchestration concepts including authentication, webhooks, routing, and settlement (preferred).
• Significant knowledge of the cryptocurrency and stablecoin ecosystem, blockchain technology, and digital asset regulatory considerations (preferred).
• Deep understanding of financial systems including cross-border payments, liquidity, clearing, settlement, and risk controls (preferred).
• Experience leading multiple cross-functional teams, developing product talent, and managing portfolio roadmaps (preferred).
• Ability to travel as needed (5-10% of the time).
