Director of Product Engineering, Fluid Systems and Thermal Management

What you'll do

• Lead and manage the multi-disciplinary Product Engineering organization, including mechanical, systems, and thermal functions.
• Define and implement scalable engineering processes to ensure technical rigor and consistent product delivery.
• Oversee end-to-end product development from initial concept through to full-scale production.
• Establish and enforce best practices for design reviews, engineering documentation, and configuration management.
• Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM), reliability, and quality standards throughout all development stages.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and manager-level talent.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to senior leadership, customers, and external partners.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive engineering experience, including significant leadership experience in product development environments.
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams at scale, including managers and cross-functional groups.
• Demonstrated success owning product engineering execution, including defining and implementing scalable processes.
• Strong technical foundation in fluid systems, thermal management, or related hardware/system-level engineering.
• Experience working in product-driven organizations delivering revenue-generating hardware solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with industry-standard engineering and simulation tools such as CAD, MATLAB, Ansys, and COMSOL.
• Experience in liquid cooling systems, data center infrastructure, or similar high-performance hardware environments (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience scaling engineering organizations in high-growth environments (preferred).
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM), stage-gate processes, and manufacturing ramps (preferred).
• Background that includes R&D experience (preferred).
