Director of GMP IT Operations, Infrastructure Architecture

What you'll do

• Define and lead IT/OT infrastructure architecture including hyper-converged systems, advanced networking, and wireless technologies.
• Design and document infrastructure architecture across networking, compute, and security domains.
• Oversee data center operations, network services, telecom, and asset management to ensure reliable system performance.
• Implement security frameworks like NIST CSF or IEC 62443 while maintaining GxP and FDA regulatory compliance.
• Develop and deploy scalable wireless networks for both industrial and enterprise environments.
• Manage service providers to ensure high-quality delivery according to established SLAs and performance metrics.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse technical team across helpdesk, desktop, server, and network functions.
• Create and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Associate Director level requires 10 years of experience including 8 years of management and 3 years in an FDA regulated environment.
• Director level requires 12 years of experience including 10 years of management and 4 years in an FDA regulated environment.
• Hands-on experience designing and documenting infrastructure architecture across networking, compute, and security domains.
• Experience managing diverse technical teams including Helpdesk, Desktop, Server, and Network staff.
• Demonstrated experience with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, IEC 62443, or ISO 27001 in regulated environments.
• Proven track record implementing ITIL practices and managing vendor service level agreements.
• Knowledge of IT compliance guidelines including PIC/S, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and GAMP is preferred.
