Director, IT Strategy

What you'll do

• Develop and execute a comprehensive IT Cost Management Plan to optimize costs across enterprise services, cloud infrastructure, and vendor contracts.
• Lead the AWS Cost Optimization Project to identify and implement cost reduction measures across various cloud service providers.
• Oversee major enterprise system transitions, including email archiving migrations and platform transitions from Exchange to Knox.
• Enforce N-IRP system policies and govern IT security protocols to ensure corporate compliance and resolve security issues.
• Provide strategic direction for IT governance, information security, audit procedures, and data privacy compliance.
• Translate executive vision into a comprehensive IT roadmap and communicate these goals to stakeholders and Samsung HQ.
• Build and manage a high-performing IT Strategy team while evolving the organizational structure to meet future needs.
• Manage IT vendor relationships and govern strategic technology budgets to ensure value realization and risk mitigation.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in IT strategy, process innovation, or enterprise systems management.
• Minimum 8 years leading enterprise-scale IT programs including cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), ERP (SAP), or CRM (Salesforce).
• Business-level fluency in both Korean and English for technical and business documentation.
• Proven experience in IT cost management strategy and driving measurable cost optimization across enterprise services and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with IT security policy governance, compliance, and audit within a large enterprise setting.
• Track record of managing high-performing teams and influencing C-suite and executive stakeholders.
• PMP or equivalent certification (preferred).
