What you'll do

Define and implement end-to-end embedded software architecture for satellite bus systems.
Lead development of real-time operating system implementations for spacecraft control.
Design and oversee software for custom ASICs and FPGAs used in spacecraft systems.
Drive hardware bring-up processes, including booting and comprehensive testing.
Establish multi-test environments and continuous test/deployment pipelines for satellites.
Own systems test strategy and execution, including Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation frameworks.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM discipline required.
At least 10 years of experience managing multiple engineering teams as a manager of managers.
Proven track record building and scaling engineering organizations (70+ people).
Minimum 10 years of hands-on embedded software design and development for mission-critical systems.
Strong Unix/Linux and real-time operating system (RTOS) architecture and implementation skills.
Experience with hardware-software integration in constrained environments, including satellite bus systems.
