What you'll do

Design and optimize flight software for Star Tracker systems, including low-level drivers and real-time control loops.
Architect fault-tolerant, redundant software systems to ensure continuous uptime and autonomous recovery for satellites.
Build and maintain test, validation, and simulation infrastructure, including hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop testbeds.
Manage the full software delivery lifecycle from requirements decomposition and architecture design to deployment and maintenance.
Develop autonomous operational behaviors to enable satellites to independently adapt to changing conditions and anomalies.
Drive the continuous improvement of deployment and over-the-air (OTA) update processes for satellites in orbit.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Experience in embedded development in C/C++.
5+ years of full software development life cycle experience (preferred).
Export control laws and regulations, candidates.
