What you'll do

Develop mission-critical firmware for ASIC systems including command systems, telemetry processing, and power control.
Design and implement robust software in Linux and real-time operating system (RTOS) environments.
Drive security architecture through threat modeling, vulnerability identification, and the design of defensive measures.
Write software to manage hardware interfaces using protocols such as I2C, I3C, SPI, UART, USB, JTAG, and Ethernet.
Support custom silicon chip and board design from initial concept through secure bring-up and integration.
Implement security-by-design principles and follow secure coding standards for space operation requirements.
Partner with test engineers to integrate security validation into manufacturing and production environments.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience identifying bugs in architecture, algorithms, functionality, and performance with strong debugging skills.
Experience verifying logic at multiple levels from IP blocks to SoCs to full system testing.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Master's degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or a related field (preferred).
Experience with formal verification techniques including abstraction and end-to-end checking (preferred).
Experience with ARM and various DSP ISAs (preferred).
Experience with RF standards, scripting languages like Python/Perl, or automation tools (preferred).
