What you'll do

Develop embedded software and system applications using C, C++, and Python for satellite systems.
Write and maintain Linux kernel drivers and device-tree overlays for various hardware interfaces like SPI, I2C, and CAN.
Build and maintain Yocto/OpenEmbedded distributions including BitBake recipes, secure boot, and image generation.
Develop software to interact with micro-controllers on bare-metal and AMP platforms.
Debug complex hardware-software integration issues using logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Develop kernel features to support upcoming capabilities on AMD/Xilinx Versal and Zynq SoCs.
Support board bring-up and integration testing in collaboration with hardware and software teams.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
3+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
2+ years of experience with Yocto/OpenEmbedded or a comparable embedded Linux build system.
5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, and source control (preferred).
3+ years of experience on networking or consumer devices using embedded Linux, Yocto, bare-metal targets, eBPF/libbpf, or Lua (preferred).
2+ years of experience in manufacturing diagnostics through phases like HVT, EVT, DVT, and PVT (preferred).
