Director, Cybersecurity

What you'll do

• Execute the internal security roadmap to protect the SaaS platform and ensure data integrity.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing security organization as the Deputy CISO.
• Manage enterprise compliance programs including SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP.
• Serve as the primary security spokesperson during high-stakes enterprise customer engagements and reviews.
• Integrate AI tools and automated workflows to optimize incident response and operational efficiency.
• Oversee vendor risk assessments, security policies, and company-wide awareness programs.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Legal teams to embed security best practices into development.

What we're looking for

• 7-10 years of progressive information security experience is required.
• 4+ years of experience leading security teams and owning end-to-end security operations, incident response, engineering, and compliance programs is required.
• Proven track record in deploying tools and processes aligned with SOC 2 Type II and other governance frameworks in a SaaS environment is required.
• Demonstrated expertise as an incident response commander with technical knowledge of CNAPP, EDR, and SASE architecture is required.
• Experience communicating complex technical risks to executive stakeholders, board members, auditors, and enterprise customers is required.
• Practical experience leveraging AI tools, automated workflows, or LLM-driven solutions for security operations is required.
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent senior security credentials are preferred.
• Experience in GRC/cybersecurity SaaS, scaling programs through growth events, or familiarity with Zscaler, CrowdStrike, GitLab, and Wiz is preferred.
