What you'll do

Define and execute the automation strategy for Camera & Photos engineering.
Build tools that reduce manual effort while increasing coverage and reliability for engineers.
Drive the adoption of agentic AI systems for test creation, debugging, and workflow orchestration.
Scale CI/CD systems to support complex imaging pipelines and hardware/software integration.
Establish metrics and feedback loops to improve engineering quality and efficiency.
Hire, mentor, and grow a team of engineers focused on automation and AI-powered tooling.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in software engineering, automation, or developer productivity tooling.
8+ years of engineering leadership experience.
3+ years of experience managing managers and senior managers as a Director.
Strong background in test automation, CI/CD systems, or large-scale developer infrastructure.
Proven track record of improving engineering velocity and product quality at scale.
Experience building or integrating AI/ML systems, including LLM-based agents, into engineering workflows.
Experience with imaging systems, camera pipelines, or media processing workflows.
