What you'll do

Integrate complex image and video processing algorithms into production-quality software.
Build core frameworks and abstractions for Cinematic HDR video and Photographic Styles.
Implement on-device machine learning and generative models for the Photos app.
Develop and optimize high-performance software using C, C++, Objective-C, or Swift.
Perform performance analysis and optimization for image and video processing technologies.
Design and ship client-facing features for the iPhone camera and photo editing experience.
Utilize Metal or other GPU programming frameworks to power visual media features.

What we're looking for

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience in object-oriented analysis and design.
Proficiency in C, C++, Objective-C, or Swift.
Experience with performance analysis and optimization techniques.
Experience with image or video processing technologies.
Experience with image and video processing applications, methodologies, and best practices (preferred).
Experience with Metal or other GPU programming frameworks (preferred).
Experience with on-device or applied ML techniques and paradigms (preferred).
