What you'll do

Lead the delivery of large-scale digital engineering programs across cloud platforms including AWS and Akamai.
Chair design reviews to establish reusable patterns and conduct code reviews for microservices architecture.
Define and publish engineering metrics regarding code quality, CI/CD adoption, and pattern implementation.
Mentor and coach software engineers to improve technical capabilities and embed best practices.
Translate technical risks into actionable guidance for senior stakeholders regarding timelines and trade-offs.
Develop and maintain BDD automated scripts and manage Jenkins jobs within the CI/CD pipeline.
Write secure, stable, and maintainable code using Java Spring Boot and Angular.
Validate web designs for responsiveness and ADA accessibility compliance using specialized tools.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
6+ years of relevant experience in an Apps Development role with hands-on Java experience for API design and development.
Expertise in cloud platforms including AWS, PCF, and Akamai.
Advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and networking to lead and architect solutions.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, and automating code quality, performance, and unit testing.
Experience with modern web technologies such as Angular and Spring Boot.
Ability to use AI tools like Copilot for code generation, refactoring, and debugging.
Ability to validate Responsive Web Design and ADA Accessibility using screen readers and tools like Axe.
