What you'll do

Lead the development of large-scale projects by overseeing design, coding, testing, and implementation phases.
Conduct architectural design reviews and code reviews for Next Gen Architecture (NGA) and Plan of Record (POR) projects.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software development engineers on best practices and platform standards.
Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and business risks while communicating impacts to stakeholders.
Develop and promote reusable design patterns across different lines of business and domains.
Manage project timelines by identifying bottlenecks and resolving dependencies between agile and waterfall delivery efforts.
Advise on infrastructure efficiency regarding hardware, runtime performance, load, and memory requirements.
Drive the adoption of new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives within the software development lifecycle.

What we're looking for

Must have 6-10 years of experience in an Apps Development role or senior experience in an Enterprise Architecture role as a subject matter expert.
Must possess a Bachelor's degree or University degree.
Must demonstrate expertise in cloud platforms including AWS, PCF, and Akamai.
Must possess advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and networking.
Must have experience with CI/CD processes, including automated code quality, performance, unit testing, and build processing.
Must possess strong communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince stakeholders.
Must be able to provide architectural guidance and conduct design and code reviews for large-scale projects.
Must demonstrate the ability to identify risks, manage trade-offs, and lead teams independently in a complex environment.
